As I scrolled down the postings on slashdot, I came across a header that read "Can you imagine posting a link to a website that would get you arrested by the police?" Well apparently your posting behavior is regulation worthy...at least in In Hong Kong. As we discussed in class, the Chinese Internet behavior is HEAVILY overseen by government regulations. One unlucky middle-age man was unfortunate enough to experience that first hand, as he has been heavily fined for posting a porn link in an adult discussion forum. According to the article, the Internet Society chairman Charles Mok Nai-kwong said the court case raised several concerns. 'In this case, the court has given a new direction to the public concerning the responsibility of Internet users,' he said. For more info on the porn posting that raised a ruckus, check out the indiscretions.

I think there is a positive side when someone has to be watched in posting a link if it is already in a way that can be annoying and also harm others it is appropriate to act, because nowadays quite a lot of people are spreading videos and wrong information. it could be that the uploaded porn video is something that can be detrimental to the people who are in it
