Can IPODS Disrupt Pacemakers?! This was the title in a very interesting posting on the Naked Conversations Blog. As the article read, a Michigan Student conducted a series of tests in regards to the distance of an ipod from a pacemaker and the disruption occurance. It turns out that when held 2 inches from a pacemaker, an ipod (while playing) cause disruptions in half of all tests. While the results have yet to be verified by officials the implications of the test is quite unnerving. There was no note to what style of music was playing...:)
